Throughout the Scriptures we read that it is good to rejoice. Christian Science gives logical reasons for rejoicing. It teaches that one can rejoice in the face of difficulties, because "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." It gives hope and courage to those who are seeking healing, and heals effectively and permanently.
I have had many proofs of the healing efficacy of Christian Science, either through the help of a practitioner or through my own study and application of its teachings as given in the textbook, ''Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
These healings include immediate relief from ptomaine poisoning. Fear, depression, and loneliness have been destroyed. Several warts on the hands disappeared as a result of my studying the writings of Mrs. Eddy. During operations for impacted wisdom teeth, Christian Science treatment quickly destroyed discomfort and pain.
