There is no law of sin
That can obtain within
Love's law of purity;
It cannot fetter man
With chains of lust, nor can
It cleave the unity
Of God and man, for each
Of us is loved. No breach
In Truth can ever be.
There is no law of death
That can consign the breath
Of man to mortal clay;
It cannot seek disguise
In good, nor compromise
With Life in any way.
False law shall cease to be,
For God with equity
Unfolds His perfect day.
