In the Manual of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, Mrs. Eddy says (Art. VIII, Sect. 24), "Testimony in regard to the healing of the sick is highly important."
I myself am always so grateful for the testimonies in our periodicals and those given at Wednesday meetings in our churches and societies that I should like to give some of my experiences as the result of the study and practice of Christian Science, hoping that someone else may be benefited by them.
Not long ago I injured one of my feet. The pain was so great that I almost fainted. The night following was a very difficult one. I could not sleep for a moment and had to try to find true rest, namely spiritual thinking, along the lines of the truths I knew from the teachings of Christian Science.
