For approximately thirty-two years I have been a student of Christian Science. During this time there have been many opportunities to apply the truths taught by this religion, which is the way of Life. The blessings have been manifold. For each one received I am grateful.
During the Second World War, I was stationed at an Officer Training School. My work included instructional responsibilities. Each Saturday one staff member presented two hours of instruction in his specialty to the staff and faculty members. The purpose was to strive constantly to provide the best in instruction, and through these sessions the staff and faculty were kept alert to the best in methods of instruction.
When I was notified of the date on which I would be expected to provide this instruction, the preparatory work was begun and carefully nurtured in anticipation of the day. The Friday afternoon prior, a complete rehearsal of the entire two-hour presentation was conducted. All was in readiness.
