The study and application of Christian Science these past thirty years and more have brought so much happiness and so many blessings into my life that I feel impelled to write a testimony in gratitude for this new-old religion, which I so love.
I began the study of Christian Science to gain a better understanding of God. I was at that time a young wife and mother, a member of an orthodox church, an ardent Christian, and a student of the Bible, but still I felt a need for "the deep things of God" (I Cor. 2: 10). I prayed often for a better understanding, and when Christian Science was brought to my attention, although our family had been warned against it ever since I could remember, I thankfully accepted a copy of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and started to study it.
This led to my withdrawal from the church of which I was at that time a member and to earnest study of the Bible with its key, Science and Health. I enrolled the children in a Christian Science Sunday School and attended the church services faithfully.
