Lives Inspired by Mary Baker Eddy's Example

Lives inspired by Mary Baker Eddy's example

A 2011 Series

From the April 2011 issue of The Christian Science Journal

How has your life been inspired by Mary Baker Eddy’s? Her life journey—in particular her rediscovery of the spiritual laws that enabled Christ Jesus to heal—has spoken to people through the decades and across cultural barriers.

This month’s three voices again come from quite diverse backgrounds. Stephen R. Howard is Director-Curator of Longyear Museum in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and has served as Senior Associate Archivist of The Mother Church. Jen McLaughlin is a Christian Science practitioner based in Boston, and is the Publisher’s Agent for the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. On behalf of The Christian Science Board of Directors (the Publisher), Jen and her team in the Office of the Publisher’s Agent are responsible for the marketing, sales, and distribution of Mrs. Eddy’s published writings in print and electronic formats. And Mónica Esefer Passaglia is a Christian Science practitioner in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Beginning with this year’s July issue, the series will feature volunteered contributions from Journal readers around the world.
