Of Good Report

Precisely guided to healing

From the November 2020 issue of The Christian Science Journal

My hybrid vehicle stopped running, and the mechanics couldn’t find the problem. The next day, my smartphone failed to reboot, and I was without needed data and connection.

Brought up short by a sudden lack of transportation and communication, I became concerned about income loss, since my job relies on both my phone and my car. Turning to God in prayer, I remembered a reference to electricity in that week’s Bible Lesson from the Christian Science Quarterly: “Destructive electricity is not the offspring of infinite good” (Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 93).

The practitioner and I claimed the precision of God-inspired prayers as weapons against diseases and discords.
