I am so grateful for a healing I had last year which proves the efficacy of the truths of Christian Science to heal.
As I was about to walk up the stairs to a church where I would be speaking during an event, I didn’t notice an uneven place on the cement sidewalk, and I tripped and fell. Immediately came the angel message—a clear thought from God—that this tumble had never happened. I could never fall out of God’s loving care.
My appearance was untouched, but I was not able to raise the arm I had fallen on. I called a Christian Science practitioner for metaphysical treatment, and immediately I felt a joyful uplift of thought and an absence of fear. No one attending the event was aware of there being a problem, and I continued to hold firmly to the truth in this statement from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy: “Accidents are unknown to God, or immortal Mind, and we must leave the mortal basis of belief and unite with the one Mind, in order to change the notion of chance to the proper sense of God’s unerring direction and thus bring out harmony” (p. 424).
