Testimonies of Healing

It is with love and gratitude that I express my thankfulness for Christian Science, which came to me twenty-four and to my husband twenty-five years ago, at times of great need. I am thankful for class instruction, and for the countless healings witnessed in our home, two of which I will mention here.

I began the study of Christian Science because I felt it was the true religion. It is nine years since I began to realize the truth as taught by Mrs.

I , too, can say with the Psalmist, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. " A short time ago I fell suddenly ill, and the doctor whom we consulted, diagnosed the trouble as a severe case of pneumonia.

I am happy to tell of the beautiful healing of our little son, about two years ago. I had noticed that the child was ailing, and had been failing for almost a year.

After living twenty-one years in Christian Science, I should like to relate my experience when coming to it for help. I was in a very bad physical state.

I wish to add one more proof of the healing power of Christian Science. Early one morning, I was awakened out of an apparently very peaceful sleep by an attack of acute indigestion.

I wish to express my gratitude, in some measure, for the many blessings that have come to me through Christian Science. Until the time of my first healing, eight years ago last December, there had never been a whole year of freedom for me.

It is ten years since I began to study and try to prove the truth of the teaching of Christian Science. I feel I cannot be grateful enough for the small understanding of it I have gained.

For twenty years Christian Science has been my daily help. I have been healed of severe attacks of rheumatism, of pleurisy, congestion of the lungs, the tobacco habit, and many other discordant conditions.

It is with a great sense of gratitude that I write this testimony. I had been ill for about eight years with valvular heart disease and the many conditions which accompany that trouble, such as indigestion, nervousness, sleeplessness, difficulty in breathing, and so on.
