Testimonies of Healing

After reaping innumerable benefits from the study of Christian Science, I feel that it is only right to add mine to the many testimonies of gratitude. Trained as a nurse, I found, after about twelve years of nursing experience, that my faith in medicine and doctors was leaving me.

It is with a deep feeling of joy and gratitude that I give in brief to the world my experience in Christian Science. Having been raised under the loving care and protection of a mother who depended entirely upon this beautiful truth, I knew that it meant a great deal to me each day, but I always depended on my mother or a practitioner for any special help needed.

Words cannot adequately express my gratitude for Christian Science. When I appealed to my husband for a practitioner, I knew nothing of Christian Science.

In grateful acknowledgment of the redemptive and healing power of Christian Science, and as a cup of cold water to those still athirst in the desert of material belief, I offer this testimony. For ten years Christian Science has been my only physician.

It is with love and gratitude that I express my thankfulness for Christian Science, which came to me twenty-four and to my husband twenty-five years ago, at times of great need. I am thankful for class instruction, and for the countless healings witnessed in our home, two of which I will mention here.

I , too, can say with the Psalmist, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. " A short time ago I fell suddenly ill, and the doctor whom we consulted, diagnosed the trouble as a severe case of pneumonia.

I began the study of Christian Science because I felt it was the true religion. It is nine years since I began to realize the truth as taught by Mrs.

I am happy to tell of the beautiful healing of our little son, about two years ago. I had noticed that the child was ailing, and had been failing for almost a year.

After living twenty-one years in Christian Science, I should like to relate my experience when coming to it for help. I was in a very bad physical state.

I wish to add one more proof of the healing power of Christian Science. Early one morning, I was awakened out of an apparently very peaceful sleep by an attack of acute indigestion.
