Testimonies of Healing
As I have been greatly benefited by what I have read in the Christian Science periodicals, I will tell of a recent experience. There was something to be done to make our meeting room look more harmonious, and while it took only a little while to make the needed readjustment, when I had finished it and was walking away, I noticed that my left foot, which had been swollen and painful and which felt numb when walking fast, was now well.
With a grateful heart I must acknowledge the many blessings I have received through Christian Science, especially in the study of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.
I am truly grateful for the understanding I have of Christian Science. It has brought much joy and peace into my life, and it is a sweet solace to know that we have found the Comforter that never fails in time of need.
After opposing Christian Science for some years I was finally induced to accept it on account of a wondrous healing that I had from the result of a bad accident. I had been playing cricket, and in running I sustained a serious injury to my leg.
I want to tell others of my healing in Christian Science. My case was a severe one of nervous exhaustion, and I had tried several doctors, but could get no help except temporarily.
Words fail me when I try to tell what Christian Science has done for me and mine. My mother came into Christian Science when I was a baby, and the demonstrations of Truth's power which I have had are indeed many.
I cannot adequately express my gratitude to Christian Science for what it has done for me. Some time ago a growth evidenced itself upon my face, and it soon became very ugly and virulent.
I am indeed grateful for what Christian Science has done for me. Three years ago I had a bad attack of mumps.
About a year and a half ago I had a very severe attack of hemorrhoids, which I was unable to overcome. I then asked my wife for help in Christian Science, and after a week's treatment I was completely healed, and have had no trouble from the ailment since.
I should like to tell of the help I have received in Christian Science. A year ago I was very much run down physically, and also mentally, and was greatly in need of help.
