The births of our two children through the help of Christian Science were harmonious and happy experiences. Both times we were able to find doctors who would deliver the babies at home.

I entered the Christian Science Sunday School as a young child and remained until I was twenty. I shall never cease to be thankful for the inspired, thorough training I received there.

My mother passed on when I was a baby, and my father placed me in the home of friends who were consecrated Christian Scientists. I attended an orthodox Sunday School of my father's faith, but many of the fundamental truths voiced by these Scientists at home left an indelible impression on my consciousness and became a guiding light in later years when I needed them.

When I was about eight years old, one of my eyes suddenly became crossed. My mother prayed earnestly in Science for me, and she encouraged me to know the truth I had been taught in the Sunday School.

Several years ago I experienced a healing from which I learned many lessons, one of them being the meaning of moral courage. The experience also illustrated for me the need of daily, consecrated, prayerful work.

Christian Science teaches that God constantly guides and governs man, His spiritual offspring. My life is filled with evidence that this is true, and I am deeply grateful.

I have been a student of Christian Science since I was a child and have not only experienced but witnessed many healings brought about by the application of this religion. When eight years old I jumped off a chair on which I had been standing and fell, hitting the floor with my chin.

One summer some sixteen years ago, although I had been experiencing a form of heart trouble the previous winter and spring, I took a trip out West to visit my daughter and her family. I had suffered from this condition on and off for many years, and my fear of attacks had never been allayed.

On looking back through the years, I remember that my first healing in Christian Science was the result of the realization of the great truth that God knows no evil, sin, disease, or death. I was asking a practitioner about this, and she assured me that it was so; but I said, "You limit God, who must know everything if He is all-knowing and all-powerful.
