Testimonies of Healing

I am happy to testify to the healing power of Christian Science. My first healing came when I was a young girl and had enlarged tonsils and adenoids.

The first proof I had of the power and presence of God stands out in my experience as a foundational rock. I was living on a homestead in northern Saskatchewan, and we depended upon the success of our crop for our supply.

I have many reasons to be grateful to God for His unspeakable gift of Christian Science. I have been helped so often by testimonies published in our periodicals that giving mine will be proof of my boundless gratitude.

I can no longer keep from expressing through the periodicals my deep gratitude for the healing and redemptive powers of Christian Science. My first healing was that of being tongue-tied, a condition with which I was born.

Christian Science came to me four years ago, and I am grateful that the little knowledge I have gained of it has broadened my whole outlook on life and brought about many happy changes. After reading Science and Health by Mrs.

When our younger son was about ten years of age, he came in one day from a bicycle ride, suffering great pain from an injured leg. My thought went immediately to God, and I began to read to our son from Science and Health by Mrs.

I am deeply grateful to have always had the blessings of Christian Science, which has been my only physician. When I was about ten years, old, I had a manifestation of a goiter.

With the hope that this testimony may help others who are searching, as I searched, for freedom from suffering, I wish to express my gratitude to God for all that Christian Science has done for me. In 1942, while serving in the United States Army during the Second World War, I contracted a skin disease that Army doctors considered incurable.

I should like to express my gratitude for the many healings and the protection I have had through the study and application of Christian Science. I am very grateful for the unfoldment each day of a little more understanding of the allness of God.

Christian Science was presented to me many years ago by a friend in the office where I worked. I doubt that what she said at the time would have made much impression if she had not also followed the admonition of the prophet Isaiah ( 35:3, 4 ): "Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
