Testimonies of Healing
How happy I am to be a Christian Scientist! It means everything to me to have a religion that I can put to daily use. From the age of three until I was twenty I had the privilege of being taught this practical way of life in the Christian Science Sunday School.
When properly applied, Christian Science has met all my needs. I have seen blood poisoning and colds healed quickly and dislocated bones returned to their normal position while the suffering one was talking to a practitioner.
Christian Science was introduced into our family in the 1880's. Before his marriage my father lived in Boston, Massachusetts, for a time, and on several occasions he heard Mary Baker Eddy preach in Chickering Hall.

For over thirty years Christian Science has met my every need, and I feel that I should no longer withhold my grateful testimony of the benefits and healings I have received from its teachings. I have learned that only radical reliance on God brings healing and fulfills the Biblical promise ( John 8:31, 32 ), "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
My first testimony was published in the Christian Science Sentinel of June 16, 1945. Now I should like to share a few more of my experiences along the road from sense to Soul.
Although Christian Science has been in my home since my childhood, it was not until about nine years ago that I gained a true appreciation of this Science.
