Testimonies of Healing
For many years the testimonies appearing in our periodicals have been a source of much inspiration and joy, and now I should like to share my own. I have been particularly blessed, because since the age of six I have been a witness that Christian Science is the way of Life.
" God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" ( Ps. 46:1 ).
While suffering from a nervous breakdown, I recalled that an aunt in a distant city had told me of Christian Science. Our family physician said that there was nothing he could do for me and that I would have to give up my work as a chemist for an indefinite time.

" Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" ( Prov.
I have expressed my gratitude for Christian Science vocally many times at Wednesday evening meetings in Churches of Christ, Scientist, and at testimony meetings held by students of Science in the armed forces. It is now time that I share my experience through our periodicals.
