Testimonies of Healing
Over forty years ago Christian Science came into our family. My mother, desiring more light on the Bible, inquired of our pastor if he could recommend a book which would enlighten the truths in the Bible, but he had nothing to offer.
With a deep sense of gratitude to God for Christian Science, I give this testimony. I was brought up in an orthodox faith, but was never fully satisfied with its teachings.
Some time ago a very unpleasant-looking growth appeared under my eye. I declared the truth for myself, that I could as God's child reflect only perfection.
I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science, which truly meets our daily needs. Some time ago my husband was told at his place of business that because of a large decrease in sales it would be necessary to let him go.

I have enjoyed the benefits of Christian Science for over forty years, and I therefore feel impelled to give my testimony. In my early girlhood I was a member of an orthodox church and took an active part in all of its activities, giving my wholehearted service. But I always felt that this church, as well as others I knew of, was not fulfilling its duty when it made no provision for the healing of the sick.
Because I have seen some glorious results of the understanding and application of Christian Science both in my own life and in that of others, I gladly bear witness to the power of divine Science. Not long after I first heard of Christian Science, I began to read parts of Science and Health and the other writings of Mrs.
