Testimonies of Healing

After spending many years under the care of doctors, I was told that nothing more could be done for me, and I was given up to die. A friend urged me to read Science and Health by Mrs.

For two years one of my sisters was crippled in one leg, clue to a diseased condition of the knee joint, with the result that this leg was about two inches shorter than the other. After a consultation, physicians declared that she would never walk normally and would find it necessary to wear a steel brace continuously and also to use crutches.

I should like to tell of a healing of hemorrhages I received through Christian Science over four years ago. I had been under medical care and X rays, and immediate entry into a hospital was advised.

Each day I am more grateful to God for Christian Science. My first healing was of faulty eyesight.

About thirty years ago I was healed of arthritis in its early stages, chronic indigestion, catarrh, and a condition of the eyelids for which I had constantly used an ointment. All these healings were brought about solely through the reading of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

The testimonies published in our periodicals have always been very helpful to me, and I wish to relate the following experience as one more proof of the fact that Christian Science heals. Christian Science has benefited me immeasurably for many years. The first convincing proof of its power to overcome physical discord was a healing I experienced of a so-called incurable hereditary disease called diabetes, from which my father had passed on.

The testimonies of healing I have read for so many years in the Christian Science periodicals have helped me very much, and I now submit my expression of gratitude in the hope that it may help others who are seeking the truth. I attended a Christian Science Sunday School when a young girl.
