Testimonies of Healing

The testimonies published in our periodicals have always been very helpful to me, and I wish to relate the following experience as one more proof of the fact that Christian Science heals. It is with a humble heart that I add my contribution to the many wonderful testimonies appearing in the Christian Science periodicals, which have never failed to help, encourage, and strengthen me. I did not come into Science for a physical healing, although I seemed to have a great many ills.

Christian Science has benefited me immeasurably for many years. The first convincing proof of its power to overcome physical discord was a healing I experienced of a so-called incurable hereditary disease called diabetes, from which my father had passed on.

The testimonies of healing I have read for so many years in the Christian Science periodicals have helped me very much, and I now submit my expression of gratitude in the hope that it may help others who are seeking the truth. I attended a Christian Science Sunday School when a young girl.

Christian Science has become to me the way of life, and there are no words adequately to express my gratitude for this wonderful revelation given to mankind by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. My introduction to Christian Science was through an appointment with the board of directors of a branch church in reference to the position of soloist, and I shall always be grateful to them.

It is a privilege to bear witness to the healing power of Christian Science. Everything I have I owe to the study of this Science, for I have emerged from a tragic childhood filled with sickness into the happiness and health of a life made free.

I have depended on Christian Science for over thirty-five years for my every need, and I desire to express my heartfelt gratitude for the spiritual growth and for the many other blessings it has brought me. Some of the earlier demonstrations of this truth in my experience have been indelibly impressed on my consciousness.

During the forty years that I have been in Christian Science I have had many blessings. Before I became interested in this Science or knew anything about it, my nostrils were so clogged that I could not breathe normally.

I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for Christian Science. Whenever I have put this wonderful teaching into practice, it has brought me blessings and deliverance.
