Testimonies of Healing

I am grateful for Christian Science and for the help it has been to me and to my family. Our children were born without the aid of a physician or the submission to any medical laws, either before or after the births.

" For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name" ( Ps. 33:21 ).

Many years ago I took a trip to the West Coast to visit an uncle. I knew that he was interested in some new kind of religion, but up to that time I had never even heard the name "Christian Science.

Many students of Christian Science, having proved in a degree the power of Truth over error, throughout some years of study and work, are prone to accept demonstrations and healings as a matter of course, and let it rest there. We are admonished, however, to share our mental treasures with those in need of help and encouragement.

[Original testimony in French] I had the privilege of being adopted and brought up by a mother who was a good Christian and who was devoted to me. In turn, I reciprocated in every way I could during her long illness.

I am so grateful that in Christian Science I have found the Comforter as promised by the Master, and that I have had the privilege of class instruction, which during the years has been a great support to me. For a time I lived on a farm, and was isolated from Christian Science activities, but I had my literature and the blessed Lesson-Sermon.

" There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear" ( I John 4:18 ). There was a period in my life when all material security seemed to be gone.

The many blessings I have received through the study of Christian Science prompt me to submit this testimony of healing with the hope that someone experiencing difficulties similar to mine may derive benefit from it. I am most grateful for Christian Science.

That Christian Science can meet every human need, I have amply proved in my own personal experience. I suddenly found myself alone in the world with two little children to rear, having lost four members of my immediate family in less than five years, the last of the four being the father of the two children.

For nearly a quarter of a century many problems in our home have been solved through the application of Christian Science. The healings mentioned in my wife's testimony are true, and others not enumerated are to me even a greater source of gratitude.
