Testimonies of Healing

With a sincere desire to express my gratitude to Christian Science for the healings and blessings which it has brought to me, I send this testimony. I was confined to my bed for three months with rheumatism, and at times seemed to be in the valley of death.

I should like to testify to the fact that I owe my life to Christian Science. Two doctors had pronounced the verdict that I was suffering from advanced heart trouble.

I am so very grateful for Christian Science that I should like to tell of a healing which I received many years ago. This healing has always stood out in my consciousness, for it showed me very clearly what Mrs.

It is with a great sense of gratitude and a desire to share with others the blessings which I have received from the study of Christian Science that I give this testimony. Thirty-five years ago I was healed of deafness.

It is with deep joy and gratitude, and with the hope that it may encourage and help to be patient those whose healing seems to come slowly, that I contribute my testimony. Having been brought up by deeply religious people, I learned at a very early age to trust and depend on God in all kinds of trouble and difficulties.

When I first began the study of Christian Science, seven years ago, domestic conditions were very inharmonious. I wanted happiness so much that I was prepared to be receptive to all the good I could find.

It affords me joy to express deep gratitude for the many healings I have experienced through the study and application of Christian Science. I distinctly recall my first healing, which occurred about thirty years ago.

I have always been grateful that I was privileged to witness the instantaneous healing by Christian Science of a medically diagnosed incurable disease. After I had acknowledged to myself that my mother would remain an invalid for the rest of her life, one can readily appreciate my overwhelming joy and gratitude to Christian Science when I saw this hideous lie refuted, and my mother able to walk again.

I have long wanted to avail myself of the great privilege of expressing some of the gratitude I feel for Christian Science, hoping that to relate a little of what it has done for me may help others to rely upon it. I was brought up by Christian parents, my father being a Methodist minister.

After receiving much good from the study and demonstration of Christian Science, I feel that it is a duty and privilege to express my gratitude in this testimony. An outstanding healing, and one which I shall ever recall with gratitude, was of deafness caused by mastoid abscesses, which the physician who attended me at the time declared had pierced both eardrums.
