Testimonies of Healing

Although I did not take up the study of Christian Science for healing, but because it appealed to me as a most practical and logical religion and one that opened the Scriptures to me, I have experienced many healings. A case of hemorrhoids was overcome after I started to attend the Sunday and Wednesday evening services of the Christian Science church.

It was many years before I realized my need of something more than I had gained from my religious beliefs and material thinking. I desired healing and a higher sense of life, and I felt ready to give up physicians and medicine for that purpose.

I find unquestionable proofs of God's continual, protective care, in the measure that I sincerely apply the teachings of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, as given in Science and Health, and it is my prayer that I may help as I have been helped. Words fail to express the gratitude my heart feels for this wonderful truth.

It is with deep gratitude to God and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for blessings received through Christian Science that I write this testimony. A few years ago I became suddenly ill with an attack of sciatic rheumatism and a breakdown.

I have known of Christian Science since 1929, and since then I have experienced many proofs of its power to heal and to bless. The first help I received was during a difficult obstetric case.

I am happy to confirm the healing given in my wife's testimony, and to express my gratitude for it. — R.

Five  generations of my family have been healed and blessed by the application of the rules of Christian Science. For many years it has been the rock upon which we have stood, and sickness, lack, discord, and depression have been overcome by the truth of its teachings.

I came into Christian Science as a natural result of seeking the truth. From the time I was a young child, I had many disappointments and much sorrow, and it seemed to me that there was very little in this world worth living for.

I was brought up in a very strict home. Ritual and creed formed our religion, and we were not encouraged to think for ourselves.

I wish to express earnest gratitude for a recent healing. When I was attempting to light a gas oven, there was an explosion, which singed my hair, and burned my right hand and arm severely.
