
Testimonies of Healing
IT is with a sense of deep gratitude to God that I can truly testify to the healing power of Christian Science. On April 24, 1937, while my husband and I were near Augusta, Georgia, returning by automobile to our home, a speeding car skidded on the wet pavement and ran into us head-on.
More than thirty-five years ago I drifted toward Christian Science, but I accepted very casually the healings and benefits I received. I was not then willing to give the time and study necessary for progress.
When I first heard of Christian Science, I was on the point of being operated upon for the removal of a growth on the left heel bone. This growth was clearly shown by an X ray.
It is with a joyous and a grateful heart that I testify to the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. Since starting its study, five years ago, I have had much greater happiness, and am steadily realizing that happiness is my birthright and is eternal, there being no limit to God's bountiful blessings to His children.
