Testimonies of Healing
A sense of profound gratitude impels me to relate a recent healing of a case of mushroom poisoning. A few hours after eating the mushrooms, I was stricken with a burning pain in the throat.
This testimony is given in gratitude for the many blessings and for the happiness I have received through Christian Science. About seventeen years ago my daughter became sickly, and for about four years she went from physician to physician without receiving help.
My introduction to the study of Christian Science was through a healing of nervous exhaustion and heart trouble. I had been under materia medica for about five years, constantly growing worse, till at last, young as I was, life did not seem worth living.
Twenty-five years ago I first witnessed a remarkable proof of the healing power of Christian Science. A near relative, an elderly lady who was living with us at the time, had been suffering for years from asthma and heart trouble.

I first took notice of Christian Science twenty-six years ago, when I came in contact with a very dear friend of long standing whom I had not seen for five or six years.
