Testimonies of Healing

I can never be thankful enough for all that Christian Science has done for our family of five. A few years ago some very heavy machinery came together on our boy's ankle, smashing it badly.

With sincere gratitude to God and to Mrs. Eddy for Christian Science, and with the hope of helping another, this testimony is lovingly given.

More than twenty-seven years ago, after weary weeks in a hospital following an operation, I was carried home in a much worse condition than before the operation. The first time I was out I ruptured my side, and for months suffered night and day.

Christian Science has brought so many blessings and healings into my life that it would take innumerable pages to record them all. I shall therefore confine my remarks to my first healing.

Christian Science has brought many blessings into my experience, and for each one I am deeply grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, and to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. One healing stands out foremost to me.

Words seem inadequate to express my gratitude for the many healings that have come to me through the study of Christian Science. Our start in this Science came through the healing of my wife of chorea or St.

For many years I was very much prejudiced against Christian Science, seizing eagerly on any adverse criticism of the subject and of Mrs. Eddy.

My mother began to study Christian Science when I was a young child, and I remember many benefits early received. Not until I was in college, however, did I take up the study in earnest.

I wish to write for our beloved periodicals an expression of my gratitude for Christian Science. My mother was a Scientist before I was born, and received healings, as did my elder brother.

I want most humbly to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me and for all mankind, and to tell of a recent healing. I had an abscess in the colon, and recognized the condition as one that had been present many years before.
