Testimonies of Healing

It was with the greatest joy that I turned to Christian Science when it was presented to me many years ago. I had searched and read, and longed for something that would solve the mysteries of this mortal life and give me something solid to build on.

Christian Science was brought to my attention through a friend's healing of stomach trouble of long standing. About this time one of my children had a growth on the tongue.

From a grateful heart I should like to relate the wonderful healing of my son. In the large plant in which he works as a machinist he met with a very serious accident.

Having found a new life through my study of Christian Science, I am glad to testify to the peace, joy, and uplifted consciousness that come through a better understanding of God. I realize now that before I began the study of Christian Science I did not know God.

For thirty years I have been a student of Christian Science. It has been a great help in rearing three daughters, who are now grown and are members of a branch church.

I should like to express sincere thanksgiving for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science, and for those which all its students are receiving daily. My first healing came from reading the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

I should like to express my gratitude for the many blessings which have come to me through the study of Christian Science, especially for one received when I was a small child. I became ill with what the doctors called typhoid fever.

I feel impelled to testify to the first healing I experienced in Christian Science, in the hope that this may prove helpful to others. About six years ago, and for a period of about two years prior to that, I had been a victim of the aspirin and whisky habits.

It is a great privilege to express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science as a healing, comforting, and satisfying religion. I was brought up in one of the orthodox churches, but when a very trying experience came into my life, I found no more satisfaction there; and after a time, I heard of Christian Science.

In March, 1913, I first learned of Christian Science, this wonderful healing truth that makes men free from all worries and fleshly ills. Since then I have had ample occasion to prove this healing power as we are taught it through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
