Testimonies of Healing

I am very grateful to my mother for my early training in a Christian home; but there were many things in life that seemed so inconsistent. How could God be Love and still permit accidents, sorrow, war? Then I heard of Christian Science, and its logical and practical explanations answered all my questions, and I knew I had found the truth.

The healing of my mother, shortly before I was born, marked the advent of Christian Science in our home. It then became our religion, a fact for.

Deep gratitude to God for Christian Science impels me to tell of the help it has been to me for over thirty years. Among the early healings I recall that, as I used the little I knew of this truth, fear in various forms, corns, and mumps disappeared.

I am deeply grateful for Christian Science, for membership in The Mother Church and one of its branches, for the privilege of serving this branch, for the practitioners, and for all the church activities. So many blessings have come to our home as a result of our studying the writings of our beloved Leader, together with the Bible and all the authorized literature published by The Christian Science Publishing Society in Boston, that it is difficult to single out any one healing to tell about.

For many years I was afflicted with stomach and gall-bladder trouble. I often suffered severe and extremely painful attacks.

The five years in which I have been a student of Christian Science have yielded me a rich harvest in spiritual progress, with its accompanying physical healing. Mary Baker Eddy, through her textbook, has brought clarity out of my nebulous beliefs regarding God and existence.

It is with gratitude that I send the following testimony. We were a family of sufferers.
