Testimonies of Healing

I was in Russia through the revolution. In 1924 I came to America, and in 1926 I became very ill.

I should like to express my great gratitude for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science. Whenever I think of my healings, I thank God with all my heart for His infinite love, by which He blesses all His children.

Two years ago, during a splendid northern winter, I was unfortunate enough to break my leg while skiing and was obliged to stay indoors for five weeks, part of the time in bed, as a result of which I got a thrombus in my lung. At this same time my husband passed on, and I was overwhelmed with depression.

In heartfelt appreciation for the healings which have come to me through the application of the rules of Christian Science, I herewith record my experience in the hope that others may be benefited. By declaring and perceiving the truth as taught in Christian Science, I was instantly healed of uncontrollable muscles on the right side of my face.

Gratefully acknowledging the many blessings which have come to me through the study and application of Christian Science I give this testimony. Nearly twenty one years ago I caught my first glimpse of what the understanding of divine Mind can do, for I was healed, in one absent treatment, of appendicitis, after surgeons had given me the verdict that an operation within twelve hours was absolutely imperative.

With sincere gratitude I desire to testify to the many blessings received by my family and myself through the application of Christian Science, which came to me when I was seventeen years old. At that time I had a bad case of varicose veins in a lower limb, which had troubled me since I was about nine years old.

I wish to express my gratitude for many proofs of the healing power of Truth in Christian Science. I have been a student of this Science since 1911, at which time I was healed of chronic liver trouble and fainting spells.

I should like to show my gratitude in this brief testimony for the great help obtained from the study and application of Christian Science. It has enabled me to distinguish the true from the false, and is daily helping me to cast out the latter.

I have much reason to be grateful for all the joy that Mrs. Eddy's inspired revelation of the truth has brought to me and to my household.

Twenty years ago my family and I thought the end was very near for me, after I had suffered nearly a lifetime of weakness and misery culminating in consumption of the blood. When the doctors could do no more, we tried the methods of semimetaphysical systems with no improvement, and at last my mother called in a Christian Science practitioner.
