Testimonies of Healing
From childhood I had enjoyed the study of the Bible and many times pondered over the words, "Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world," and, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. " Yet when any reference to the Bible as a present help was made, I received the reply, "Some day God will make it plain to you.
Many have been the blessings which I have received through the understanding of God gained from the teachings of Christian Science. It was first presented to me about twenty years ago by a friend who had had healings, and who gave me a Christian Science Sentinel to read.

Christian Science has been the source of many blessings to me, both physical and mental. Sixteen years ago I took up the study of this wonderful truth after witnessing my wife's instantaneous healing of ulcers of the stomach.

For many years I have been a student of Christian Science, and it has met my every need to the extent that I have lived its teachings. I have learned through many experiences that we have a dependable religion which never fails; and that any seeming failure is due to lack of proper application.
About eight years ago I was in bondage to the appetite for alcohol, which I was said to have inherited. On pondering over my healing recently I can see it might be likened to the case of the man who was "laid daily at the gate of the temple" and asked alms of Peter and John.
