Testimonies of Healing

It is with a deep and humble sense of grateful appreciation of the wonderful revelation of Truth given to us by our revered Leader, and her untiring struggle with the forces of evil, that I offer this testimony of the regenerating and healing power of Christian Science. Truly, I had reached "man's extremity" when I first learned of Christian Science.

In love and gratitude to God and to Mrs. Eddy, the interpreter of Jesus' beautiful teaching, I wish to tell of some of the benefits I have received from Christian Science.

It is not possible for me to find adequate words with which to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I took up the study after witnessing the healing of my mother of chronic heart and stomach trouble, from which she had suffered for many years.

I am filled with gratitude to God for the efficient healing power of Christian Science, also for the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and for the periodicals, which today reach every part of the globe. Several years ago, when living in the United States of America, I experienced a wonderful healing.

I should like to give my testimony as to the healing efficacy of Christian Science and express my unlimited gratitude for the many healings, blessings, and experiences of protection which I, as well as other members of my family, have experienced. After one has relied wholly, for twenty-five years, on either his own or a practitioner's understanding of God, he cannot remain long under any false illusion of fear or doubt that his present problem will not be solved.

At the time Christian Science found me, over seven years ago, I was as much in prison as if I had been incased within solid steel walls. Not only was I in a mental prison, but I had tuberculosis, a disease I had feared from childhood.

It is with a heart full of love and a deep feeling of gratitude to our beloved Leader that I give my testimony of the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. Over fifteen years ago I had my first experience of the power of Truth to heal.

I am grateful for all that Christian Science has done for me since it was first presented by a kind friend about two years ago. Hoping that others beginning their study of this wonderful religion of love may realize that great length of time is not essential to gain a demonstrable understanding of this truth, I am sending this testimony.

I wish to express my gratitude for the daily strength and courage which Christian Science brings to me when I seek first the kingdom of God. With four young children it has proved a great preventive as well as a curative.

For the many healings and blessings I have both received and witnessed through Christian Science I am most sincerely grateful. It was while searching for a loving God that a dear one had a healing and Christian Science was brought to my notice.
