Testimonies of Healing
It is with pleasure that I bear witness to my wife's testimony of the healing of tuberculosis and other healings in our home. The healing of acute sciatica was my own case, this being accomplished through absent treatment.
My heart overflows with gratitude to the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science for giving to the world a practical religion, that of Truth and Love, which frees from error of every sort. I found Christian Science through a Sentinel , which was sent to me while I was in a sanitarium.
"Christian Science does heal!" Often I had heard this said in Wednesday evening testimony meetings. This statement caused me to wonder what was meant by the testifiers.
In loving gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for us, I send this testimony of the healing omnipotence of divine Love. I had been to town to attend several Christian Science lectures, and shortly after my return home I heard my husband calling me and knew by his voice that he needed help.
Like many others, I came to Christian Science as a last resort. I was suffering from indigestion, constipation, and a skin disease called acne; and I had exhausted the means of materia medica, after years of various treatments.
AFTER being absent from all church services for more than ten years, we moved to a neighboring state, and there I began to attend the Christian Science church with my husband, who had just become interested in this Science. I did not expect to use it as a healing agency, though prior to this move four operations had seriously reduced our finances.
IT is with a deep sense of gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me, and in the hope that it may help others, that I give this testimony. When Christian Science was presented to me by a friend, I was in a very poor state of health, and had been under medical treatment for two and a half years for diabetes.
ABOUT two years ago I was instantaneously healed of heart trouble. One afternoon, when shopping in the city, I felt faint and nearly lost consciousness.
IT is with a deep sense of gratitude and joy that I testify to the healing efficacy of Christian Science. Eleven years ago I was suffering both physically and mentally from that which to medical doctors seemed to be quick consumption.
WITH a heart full of gratitude I wish to tell of the wonderful help and guidance I have received from a sincere study of Christian Science during a very trying experience in my life. Like all my compatriots in Russia, during the Bolshevist revolution, I was deprived of my possessions, which were many.
