Testimonies of Healing

I should like to bear witness to the fact that Christian Science heals. I first heard of this Science while visiting a friend.

As I look back upon my life before I found Christian Science, it seems like a dark dream. Truly, "the Lord is my light.

It is always a joy to express my gratitude for our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave Christian Science to the world.

Nearly nineteen years ago my mother became anxious about me. I was preparing to take a final school examination, one which I had failed to pass the year previous, owing to nerves.

My husband, our family, and I have so much reason to be grateful to Christian Science that I scarcely know where to begin. A wonderful healing came to me in 1921.

" All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies" ( Ps. 25:10 ).

Since early childhood I have known of Christian Science and have used it in my daily living. It was only in recent years, when I acquired a home and family of my own, that I began to be truly grateful for Mrs.

I feel it my duty to testify to the healing power of Christian Science. I have been healed of a serious internal malady.

A number of years ago I realized that the Protestant church in which I had been active all my life was not helping me to understand God and my relationship to Him. This realization came to me at a time when I greatly needed inspiration.

When I was about six years old I had my first Christian Science treatment, although it was several years before I knew what it was that had healed me. A woman who was a Christian Scientist asked permission of my mother to take me home with her for a few weeks.
