I should like to express my humble appreciation for all that Christian Science has done for me during the past thirteen years.
I was seeking the understanding of my true selfhood when I began to study Science. I was living in a small village, and a friend there was the messenger who brought me the Christ, Truth, revealed to the world by Mary Baker Eddy. My friend and I were the only Christian Science students in the village, and we spent many afternoons together studying the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. During this time I was healed of chronic constipation and colitis, also of extreme nervousness, which seemed to be the aftereffect of a surgical operation.
My husband has had two beautiful healings, although he is not a student of Christian Science. A badly infected foot was healed by my application of the truth. At the time of a severe attack of ptomaine poisoning I was asked to call a practitioner. After treatment was begun, my husband fell asleep, and the next morning was able to dress and attend to his business.
