With a heart overflowing with gratitude to God for "his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men" (Ps. 107:8), I write this testimony.
Over twenty-five years ago I learned of Christian Science when I was seeking answers to questions that disturbed and puzzled me. The answers, simply and logically given, were found in the chapter on Atonement and Eucharist in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. From then on, I used Christian Science consistently to solve my problems.
I have always enjoyed good health; so I had no physical difficulty of any proportion to meet until four years ago, when I was involved in a highway traffic accident. I was taken, in an unconscious condition, to a hospital in a nearby town. It was many hours before I regained consciousness and could get in touch with my family. The doctors then told my sister there was little hope for my recovery. A relative called a Christian Science practitioner, who at once began to treat me through prayer.
