Since I first attended a Christian Science Wednesday evening testimony meeting many blessings have come to me and to my family through the study and application of Science.
My attendance at this meeting was itself an outstanding experience, for when I left home I did not know where I was going or what I was looking for. This particular evening, when I seemed impelled to get on the streetcar and go into town, I decided where I would get off solely because there were several churches in that particular vicinity. I found none of them open; so I walked down and up the streets for two blocks several times. Then I saw a group of people entering a lodge hall, and after watching them for a few minutes I followed them in because they looked so happy in a quiet sort of way.
It was a group of Christian Scientists, I found, who were holding their meetings in this lodge hall while the exterior of their church was being completed. I was so confused and bewildered that I did not understand much of what was read from the desk, but when different ones testified that God had healed them I knew I had found what I wanted.
