Testimonies of Healing

I have such a feeling of freedom, and peace, and happiness, all of which I owe to Christian Science, that it would indeed be ungrateful of me longer to withhold my testimony. I came to America as a young girl, and not knowing the English language I became very self-conscious whenever it was necessary for me to talk.

Some eight years ago I turned to Christian Science for help. Up to that time I had been ailing for a number of years with stomach and bowel trouble.

I have enjoyed wonderful health, contentment, and peace of mind ever since my beautiful, complete healing in Christian Science about a year and a half ago after a great deal of suffering, both mental and physical. I had changed doctors several times and at last consulted a specialist, who diagnosed my case as cancer of the uterus.

I am pleased to confirm the above testimony in regard to my father's healing. We have also had many other blessings come to our home through the study of Christian Science.

I wish to express my gratitude for help received in Christian Science. I was taken with severe pains in the stomach and bowels which caused great fear.

After reading the testimonies in the Journal and the Sentinel that my daughter had found in a railroad coach, I remarked to my wife, "This is my last chance, for I have taken enough medicine to float a ship, without any help;" so we started to find out where we could procure a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and were led to the Christian Science Society of Wallace, Idaho, where my wife procured a copy of this book.

For several years I had the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday school, and for the inspiring instruction received there I can only show my gratitude by letting my light so shine before men that I may glorify my Father which is in heaven. The study of the Bible in connection with Science and Health has made that book very dear and practical to me.
