
Testimonies of Healing
Before being allowed to take an overseas assignment, my husband and I were required by his firm to submit to a complete physical examination at a local hospital. When the results of my blood test were received, the staff called me back for more extensive testing and also wanted to give me a prescription for iron.
In 1974 I was determined to prove that even though I was older than most women when they become pregnant, nothing was going to keep me from continuing my very active life. This included tennis, social events with my husband, and the care of two lively preteen daughters.
When I was a child, a medical examination at school resulted in the prognosis that I would never be healthy enough to participate in sports and that I would have to be very careful about physical activity. I was diagnosed as having asthma.
I feel very blessed in having witnessed my grandmother's healing. I had just completed my first semester of college.
It is again time to express my indebtedness to Christian Science. A healing of grief, previously attested to, was reached alone with God.
