I am extremely grateful that my parents accepted Christian Science when I was a small child. This Science has enabled me to deal successfully with the problems that come up in daily life, and I have had many physical healings.

One Christmas Eve when I was a very new student of Christian Science I found myself with a terrific headache and upset stomach. I had not finished all my preparations and projects for the next day and had been feeling pressured and hurried.

In today's world there is considerable thought given to ways of coping with physical illness. As a longtime student of Christian Science, I turned naturally and immediately to God for healing when I was faced with physical illness two years ago.

For nearly fifteen years I was the general manager and director of a large organization. To the satisfaction of shareholders, principals, and customers, sales and profits grew along with a strong service organization.

My religious upbringing taught me to love God. Yet, my first knowledge that God cured sickness as well as sin was through my fiancé, a Christian Scientist.

Throughout my childhood I regularly attended a Protestant Sunday School and was involved in the activities of this church. But while I believed in God, I did not accept all the teachings of this religion.

As a girl I spent many summers with an aunt who was a Christian Scientist. She would read the Bible Lesson to me and her own children.

I will always be grateful to my father for introducing me to Christian Science by enrolling me in a Christian Science Sunday School. I enjoyed attending but did not fully appreciate at the time the impact those early lessons would have or realize that what I was learning would remain with me as a tremendous support in life.
