Testimonies of Healing
Although I have been a student of Christian Science but a comparatively short time, I feel that I should give my expression of gratitude for all the good which has unfolded to me through Christian Science. I hope that my experiences will help and encourage others.
Christian Science has given me more than grateful words can ever express. It has replaced sorrow with boundless joy, great fear with a deep-toned confidence in God's constant, loving care; and false traits of character have been replaced with spiritual qualities.
It is my great desire to express in this way my gratitude for all the help I receive through the study of Christian Science and for all the healings I have experienced, not only of illness but of other difficulties as well. I do not see now how I could ever live without Christian Science.
" Attempt nothing without God's help. " So counsels our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, on page 197 of "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany.
In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy makes it very clear that evil, including all disease, is lawless and impotent. I have occasion to be grateful for this revelation, for it has been of help to me in times of difficulty.

The blessings which have unfolded to me as the natural fruits of a consecrated study of Christian Science would fill many columns. But the blessings I count most precious are spiritual ideas of joy, serenity, health, freedom from fear, and the substitution of compassion and understanding for a tendency to criticize.
On page 410 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy we read: "Every trial of our faith in God makes us stronger.
Isaiah the prophet wrote of God as saying ( 43:2 ), "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. " This promise proved to be practical and helpful when an automobile party, of which I was a member, was marooned during a flood.
Christian Science was presented to me many years ago by a friend who saw my need when I was waiting to go into hospital. For weeks I had had severe internal hemorrhages, which the doctor was unable to stop.
