The blessings which have unfolded to me as the natural fruits of a consecrated study of Christian Science would fill many columns. But the blessings I count most precious are spiritual ideas of joy, serenity, health, freedom from fear, and the substitution of compassion and understanding for a tendency to criticize.
On page 410 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy we read: "Every trial of our faith in God makes us stronger.
Isaiah the prophet wrote of God as saying ( 43:2 ), "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. " This promise proved to be practical and helpful when an automobile party, of which I was a member, was marooned during a flood.
Christian Science was presented to me many years ago by a friend who saw my need when I was waiting to go into hospital. For weeks I had had severe internal hemorrhages, which the doctor was unable to stop.

At a time when everything looked very dark to me, a dear one gave me some copies of the Christian Science Sentinel. After reading them I realized that Science could help me.
