Testimonies of Healing

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases" ( Ps. 103:2, 3 ).

Christian Science has been the only help in our home for as long as I can remember. My gratitude is unbounded for the privilege of attending the Sunday School and later of taking part in branch church activities.

It was my privilege to attend the Christian Science Sunday School from the time I was a small child. I am glad that my parents saw the wisdom of regular attendance.

It is with sincere humility and gratitude to God that I offer this testimony to the healing efficacy of Christian Science. This Science came to me at a time when I did not seem able to cope with the grief that overwhelmed me at the passing on of loved ones within a short time of each other.

Christian Science has been to me, in the years since I began its study, something on which I could lean in time of trouble. It means more to me each day, and I am grateful for the many blessings it has brought me.

We have had many wonderful healings through the study and application of Christian Science. However, the following has always stood out in my thought, because it emphasizes the powerful healing effect of the expression of gratitude.

David said in Psalms 91:1 , "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. " In the opening lines of the Preface to Mary Baker Eddy's textbook on Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," is a reiteration of the promise in these words ( p.

Having been a student of Christian Science for many years, and having been greatly blessed by the testimonies of others, I feel it is a great privilege to offer my tithe of gratitude through our periodicals for this liberating and inspiring truth. I should like to share an experience of healing which I had through the application of "the scientific statement of being" given in our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs.

It is with gratitude in my heart that I offer this testimony to the healing efficacy of Christian Science and the joyous way of life which opens up to those who learn to listen to the still small voice of God and obediently walk in the way of divine leading. No human hand led me to take my initial steps in Christian Science a little more than five years ago.

I am ceaselessly grateful for the innumerable blessings I have received through the study of Christian Science and for the many wonderful healings I have experienced and witnessed through its ever present healing power. About sixteen years ago I had my introduction to Christian Science.
