Testimonies of Healing

I am most grateful to God for giving us Christian Science. I am especially grateful for the protecting power of good which we are able to make use of through the study of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

The guiding, guarding, and healing influence of Christian Science has flowed through my life since birth, and it is difficult to choose from all the good that has been mine those healings and experiences that might be most helpful to others. Blessed with a mother who used Christian Science constantly in her daily life, I early learned that a knowledge of it does heal, protect, and supply all good.

It is with profound gratitude that I take this opportunity to testify to some of the many healings I have had through the application of Christian Science. About five years ago I found myself confronted with a physical trouble which was alarming.

For many years I had been hoping to see an impressive proof of the efficacy of Christian teaching and preaching, but it was not until I met a Christian Scientist, who proved for me the healing power of divine Principle, that I knew that the Christ was operating for the benefit of mankind at all times, now as in the time of Jesus. This first healing was a great joy to me because I was lifted out of the misery of a heavy cold with its accompanying difficulties, including a sore throat, and was enabled to perform successfully as soloist at a concert the following evening.

I was taught the Scriptures (see the Church Manual, Art. XX, Sect.

It is with a deep sense of appreciation that I testify to the healing efficacy of Christian Science. However, physical healings are but a small part of the countless blessings received through the study and application of this Science.

It is with the deepest gratitude that I give my testimony to the healing power of Christian Science. Twenty-five years ago I was suffering intensely from what an orthopedic doctor pronounced a sagging back, caused by lifting.

Christian Science came into my life when I was quite a young girl, and for this great blessing I shall never cease to be grateful. My mother turned to Science for physical healing when confined to her bed with inflammatory rheumatism.

It is with a heart full of gratitude to God that I am writing this testimony. I have received so much benefit from reading the testimonies of others that I want to share some of our blessings.
