Testimonies of Healing

I was taught the Scriptures (see the Church Manual, Art. XX, Sect.

It is with a deep sense of appreciation that I testify to the healing efficacy of Christian Science. However, physical healings are but a small part of the countless blessings received through the study and application of this Science.

It is with the deepest gratitude that I give my testimony to the healing power of Christian Science. Twenty-five years ago I was suffering intensely from what an orthopedic doctor pronounced a sagging back, caused by lifting.

Christian Science came into my life when I was quite a young girl, and for this great blessing I shall never cease to be grateful. My mother turned to Science for physical healing when confined to her bed with inflammatory rheumatism.

It is with a heart full of gratitude to God that I am writing this testimony. I have received so much benefit from reading the testimonies of others that I want to share some of our blessings.

Christian Science has been in our home since my childhood. I remember the little book brought to us by a kind neighbor, and one day when I returned from school with all the symptoms of scarlet fever, my mother read to me from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and I was completely healed when I awoke the following morning.

In compliance with our Leader's counsel regarding written testimony (Manual, Art. VIII, Sect.

Humbly and sincerely I desire to submit written testimony to the healing efficacy of Christian Science. My gratitude for the beloved Discoverer and Founder of this Science, Mary Baker Eddy, increases with each demonstration of its power.

Since my initial glimpse of the truth of Christian Science it has been unfolding to me in ever-increasing clarity, and I am more impressed each day with its simplicity. I have had many proofs of how right ideas entertained in consciousness heal the ill effects of the wrong ideas which they supplant.

For those who seek the meaning of life, and the fundamental truths of being. Christian Science is indeed the way.
