Testimonies of Healing

When I was four years old my parents became students of Christian Science, so I have known little else. Thanks to its healing power, which was constantly demonstrated in our home, I have much for which to be grateful.

In the autumn of 1941 I was suddenly taken ill and was rushed to a hospital. After a few days the doctors pronounced my case a very serious bladder condition, for which I should have to undergo an operation.

I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings Christian Science has brought into my life. With the help of practitioners it has met my every need over a period of many years.

It would be impossible to express in words alone my unbounded gratitude for Christian Science and for what it has done for me. I realize that gratitude must be expressed in service and in daily living.

Forty years ago I was healed of tuberculosis. Thus was belief in the law of heredity destroyed, for I had lost a brother from the same malady.

More than ten years ago I had a growth in my mouth which was very unpleasant. A daughter whom I visited in Texas suggested I see a dentist.

Christian Science has been my only physician for the past twenty years, and it has never failed to heal, protect, and guide me. In our home we have had healings of tuberculosis, broken bones, rheumatic fever, sprains, colds, headaches, and numerous other ills.

My first healing in Christian Science is always a source of wonder and joy to me. I was suffering from a strange disease which had been treated by a number of reputable physicians over a period of seven years.
