Testimonies of Healing

Through the work of a Christian Science practitioner I was healed of the fear of becoming totally blind. I was retouching for three photographic studios who were dependent on my assistance during their busiest season.

Just as the boys in the armed forces are encouraged by news of a victory on another battle front, so are we heartened by news of a victory on any one of the myriad battle fronts faced by mankind in its warfare with error. When my son was inducted into the Army, an experience of his that occurred years ago came to my thought so frequently, with its beautiful assurance of the saving power of Truth, that I have a strong desire to share it.

When I was a young girl just out of high school, I became ill and was sinking in the last stages of fever. Christian Science healed me and restored my life and health.

For many years I have desired to give my testimony of the many healings we have had through the study of Christian Science. It is the greatest blessing that has come into our lives, and I want to share it with those who desire to know something about Truth and are in need of help.

I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science. The person who introduced Science to my grandmother, when I was a small child, had no idea of the far-reaching influence it would have.

I am very grateful to be able to state that I witnessed my wife's healing through Christian Science of chronic hay fever and acute pneumonia. The study and application of this religion have solved the many problems of every member of our family.

I became a student of Christian Science when my husband was healed of a nervous breakdown fifteen years ago. For as long as I can remember I had been a victim of hay fever and had tried all medical remedies, including inoculations and diet, with only temporary relief.

I had just married and come to this country from Australia in 1916 when I first heard about Christian Science. While living in a Southern California city I was attracted by my neighbor's cheerful face, and being in great need of help was directed to a practitioner.

For some time I have felt impelled to express my gratitude for all the good I have received through the study and application of Christian Science. It was through witnessing the beautiful healing of a friend that I was led to this glorious truth.

I wish to express my deep gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me, with the hope it will bring comfort and help to others. About fifteen years ago, I began the study of Christian Science.
