
Testimonies of Healing
Although I have been a student of Christian Science for fifty years, I have never submitted a written testimony; so I am now correcting that omission. I am grateful that I had a mother who was very spiritually-minded and that I was brought up in a Christian atmosphere.
I am grateful to have been raised in Christian Science. I have experienced healings of injuries, relationship troubles, and difficulties concerned with home and location.
Recently I visited a lovely woman who reminded me of the wonderful healing that brought my grandparents into Christian Science. As a young girl in the early 1900s, this woman had been a school friend of my mother and my aunt.
One night after driving into our garage, my husband and I were confronted by two men armed with pistols. They forced us to lie down on the garage floor where we were bound and gagged.
In 1936 my paternal grandfather, who was living in Holland, was healed through Christian Science of tuberculosis. Soon after this healing, he, his wife, and their children began attending services at a branch Church of Christ, Scientist.
