It is with a grateful heart that I would like to relate a few instances in which blessings have been experienced in my family through Christian Science. A cousin of mine who had been healed by its ministration drew our attention to this new religion, and many have been the proofs of Truth's power that we have had since. Thus when our four year old boy became afflicted with severe earache, he was completely relieved with two treatments. Our little girl was freed of abnormal growths which had so increased inside her throat and nose that she was short of breath; but this trouble yielded entirely within a short time through Christian Science treatment. The same child was suddenly taken ill with fever last year and manifested symptoms of a so-called children's disease in its incipient stages. At first fear tried to creep in, as a little niece of ours had passed on the year before with a similar trouble, but we asked the same practitioner for help, which was immediately given, and with two treatments the child was completely healed.
In November, 1913, my husband was taken with violent pain, and the physician whom we summoned declared it to be due to gall-stones. We then turned to Christian Science, and with a few treatments he was healed, and has never been reminded of the trouble. I have been healed of a stiff neck, and on one occasion, when I seemed to have contracted blood-poisoning in the right hand, I held fast to the truth and thereby experienced quick healing.
