It is not only a blessing, but a joyful privilege, to be a student of Christian Science. Christian Science is a practical religion, the teachings of which, when properly applied, will solve our every problem, will meet our every need, be it physical or mental, in business or at home.
About three years ago I was taken quite ill and began suffering excruciating pain. I was most grateful that I could be at the home of loved ones who were also students of Christian Science, and whose loving care and study were most helpful. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and with her help within a few days the seeming cause of the pain passed from my body. There was absolutely no pain connected with this removal. In a few days I was spending all my time out of bed. I was quite stooped and very weak; but this was quickly overcome. The only lingering part of this experience was a hemorrhage which lasted for about three months. During this period of time I was perfectly well in every other way, and I suffered no loss of strength or energy. Only about two weeks after the first part of this demonstration I made an automobile journey of over a thousand miles without one bit of discomfort. During this entire experience I had absolutely no fear of any ill effects, and I knew that the difficulty would be healed. It is utterly impossible to express my joy and gratitude for this beautiful healing.
More recently, after accepting a position, I was so filled with fear that it seemed from a material standpoint I could not go through with it. This fear and a subsequent illness were entirely destroyed through the help of a Christian Science practitioner. I now find my work a pleasure, and am grateful to know that I reflect divine intelligence and that I am not alone in my efforts, but that God is ever with me.
