THE real man's consciousness is the expression of the one perfect Mind, God. His ability to be spiritually active is therefore a reflected, not a self-acquired, faculty. And since the activity of Mind is constant, man knows neither inability nor apathy; he has neither the capacity nor the desire to cease from this constant activity of expressing Mind.
When one turns to Christian Science for help in some discordant experience he learns, for the first time, of this true consciousness. He then discerns how far short of expressing perfect Mind has been his human consciousness, with all of its inconsistencies, material beliefs, fears, pains, and sinful thoughts.
With new significance he hears Paul's admonition, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." In other words, let God. divine Mind, instead of mortal mind, supply your thoughts. Then, with a heaven-sent aspiration he turns to divine Mind for spiritual, true ideas.
