Adoration

From the April 1959 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Release from discord came in silent thought
With wonder of a newborn sense of peace,
And Love's ideas, which I dearly sought,
As angels bade the storm of error cease.

A consciousness of innate power was felt
Dissolving everything opposing right.
A sense of good before which errors melt
Came purifying self and calming fright.

In wordless thought, with mortal clamor stilled,
Truth's revelation came to spiritual sense,
And knowing I was healed, I rose, joy-filled,
In adoration of omnipotence.
