The true nourishment for which men yearn is the revelation of Truth, the realization of man's true status as a son of God. The knowledge of real being as forever whole, happy, and free, beloved of the Father, is the true "bread which cometh down from heaven" (John 6:50). Christ Jesus shared this bread with his disciples, and today it is being shared with a hungry world through the teachings of Christian Science.
In many areas attempts are being made to subject the thinking of mankind to propaganda which seeks to divide and conquer by furthering the material concept of many minds, different nationalities, and clashing ideologies. An unfailing antidote for such anti-Christian sentiment is to be found in following the counsel of Paul the Apostle, that mighty uniter of men, who wrote (Phil. 4:8), "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
The student of Christian Science finds that, through his daily study of the Bible and of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, his thought is led to the contemplation and active realization of these honest, pure, and lovely things, that he is being truly fed with the bread of Life. Through the mighty instrumentality of The Christian Science Publishing Society, as conceived and established by our beloved Leader, things of good report are distributed through daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly periodicals.
