Christian Science has always been my best friend, and it continues to be. No matter what problem presents itself, a satisfactory answer may be found in the teachings of this Science.
I have had many proofs of God's protective care in the healing of sickness, overcoming indecision, and establishing a happy, harmonious home with my husband and children. I am especially grateful for the following healing experienced recently by our little girl.
One Sunday she fell from a swing, injuring her mouth and nose. My husband quickly picked her up and covered the lower half of her face with a handkerchief. We immediately telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner for help. The child was crying bitterly, but within five minutes she lay peacefully in my arms while we sang some of Mrs. Eddy's hymns to her. Later, when we removed the handkerchief, we could see that her nose was flattened, one tooth considerably displaced, and her lip very swollen and grazed.
