"I HAVE NO OLD"

From the August 1962 issue of The Christian Science Journal

One Sunday morning a little boy came to be enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School, and when the superintendent asked him how old he was, he replied spontaneously and with childlike directness, "I have no old."

This child was being reared in a family of Christian Scientists and had learned that "man in Science is neither young nor old," as Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health (p. 244). How important it is for everyone to identify himself with ageless Being as this child did!

To God, eternal Life, there is no age. God is ageless, timeless, and endless. He is not getting any older, nor is His reflection, man, getting any older. God never changes; therefore His reflection remains unchangeable. God has identified each one of His ideas with continuing, universal good. He knows each identity and individuality as the changeless expression of ageless, divine Principle.
